Description : The Asian Food Channel or AFC is the first and only regional Asian food TV channel in the region. It's a new pay channel that provides a mix of both Eastern and Western programmes in a variety of formats. It was launched in mid-2005 into multiple territories across the region starting with the world's windows into Asia, Singapore and Hong Kong. Going beyond just pretty pictures, AFC commissioned high quality programmes and is currently working to produce programmes that would delight its viewers. With rich programming from across the region, Asian Food Channel features shows crafted by individuals who know their country and its secrets well and want to share them with viewers. Whether it's a travelogue or a cooking show, viewers will be introduced to Asia's best restaurants, the finest chefs, and extraordinary cuisines, anything that defines and refines the culinary expertise that has become synonymous with Asia. |
